\u201cWhy do you think that?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBecause I made a promise to Dad,\u201d he said softly. \u201cI promised to help you\u2026 to take care of my little brother.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At that moment, the mother understood. Her eldest wasn\u2019t jealous \u2014 he was just trying to be a good big brother. But he needed love and reassurance as much as the newborn did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
