For twelve years, Ramiro woke up every morning in the cold of cell B-17. At first, he tried to fight: he wrote letters, sought lawyers, begged anyone to believe in his innocence. But no one did.
Over time, he gave up. He accepted the silence, the walls, and the fate that awaited him.
The only thing that still kept him alive was his dog, Luna, a German Shepherd he had found as a puppy, trembling in an alley. She had become his family, his only support, the only being he still trusted. He had no one else in the world.

He promised he would not resist, asking only that Luna have a home.
