I was in shock from what I found when I opened my husband’s drawer the day after our wedding

Eleonora woke up the morning after the wedding next to George, happy that her dream of being with him had finally come true. Their relationship had been full of ups and downs, and for a while it seemed that George would never be ready for commitment.

But now she was married, wearing a ring, and in her heart she felt that everything was finally perfect. She was sure that the worst was behind them.

Smiling, she got up and went to the bathroom. Passing by George’s desk, she noticed a small box inside the drawer that she didn’t remember seeing before. Curiosity got the better of her. She opened it—and froze.

Inside was a small velvet pouch and a folded note. Her heart was pounding as she unfolded the paper. It read:
“It’s a pity we ended this way,” the note said. “The child deserved to know the truth.”

At that moment, Eleonora’s hands began to shake. She couldn’t believe what she was reading. Her stomach turned cold as realization struck — the note wasn’t meant for her.

Her mind started racing. Who was this child? Was George hiding something from her? She quickly went through the rest of the drawer, finding letters, photographs, and finally… a birth certificate.

The name listed under “Father” was George’s. And the mother’s name — not Eleonora’s.

Eleonora fell to the floor, speechless. Her perfect wedding, her dreams, her trust — everything collapsed in a single moment.

Later that day, when George came home, she waited for him in silence. He smiled, kissed her on the cheek, and asked what was wrong.

She looked him in the eyes and said quietly:
“Whose child is it, George?”

What do you think she should do next? Would you confront him or walk away?
